The rules Aggrado follows
- Call NC811 (811, or nc811.org) at least 3 full working days before digging, not counting the day you call. Called Monday, dig Friday. Weekends and your company's holidays aren't working days.
- An emergency ticket may dig the day it's called in.
- A ticket lasts 28 days from its start. If the work goes on, call in a remark before it runs out.
- Dig only once every utility on the ticket has marked its lines or said it has nothing there.
Add a ticket
- Open the job, then Documents › 811 tickets (or the job's page on the phone).
- Choose Add an 811 ticket.
Type the ticket number, the day you called and the work area as you gave it. The dig-from and runs-out dates fill in.
- Add each utility on the ticket.
On a new job, Set up this job on its Summary lists Call in the 811 tickets until the job has one.
Utilities' answers
As each utility answers, set it to Marked, Clear (nothing of theirs there), Conflict or No response. The ticket reads Clear to dig once every one is marked or clear and its start date has come.
Remarks and closing
Call in a remark enters the renewal as a new ticket on the job and closes the one it replaces. When the digging is done, choose Close (digging done).
Where tickets show
- Each job's header shows its 811 standing; its 811 tickets view has the detail.
- Jobs › 811 tickets lists every open ticket on your jobs: conflicts, those waiting on utilities, not legal yet, clear (with the days left), and lately run out.
- The phone app's job page has the job's tickets, for adding one from the truck and checking off answers.
- On the look-ahead, a schedule line's Locates ready check names the live, cleared ticket that covers the line's days.
- A quick job whose template digs says so when it has no live ticket.
- Three days before a ticket runs out, the job's people are told by notice and email.
