Frequently asked questions
Short answers to what sitework contractors ask before they try Aggrado Site, and what customers ask most. For anything about your own company's setup or work, Help and support inside Aggrado answers with what you can see.
Before you buy
›What happens after the free trial?
The trial is 14 days, with no card. If it ends without a plan, the company pauses: nothing is deleted, and subscribing on Billing opens it again just as you left it. An owner can ask for one 14-day extension from Billing.
›Do foremen and crews need a seat?
No. Bid is priced by the estimator seat, for people whose role edits estimates. Job is priced by the jobs you run at once, and Field, the crew's phone app, comes with it. Foremen, crews, office staff and viewers are never charged for.
›What counts as an active job?
A job counts while its status is Active. Jobs that are Not started, On hold, Complete or Closed are free, so you never pay for your history or for work that hasn't begun. Quick jobs count 5 to one. At 20 or more jobs running at once, Job is priced by quote.
›Can I bring my HeavyBid or Excel rates?
Yes. Copy the rows from Excel, or from a HeavyBid export opened in Excel, and use Paste data… on the Codebook's tabs: Aggrado reads the columns by their headings and shows every row before anything is saved. A new company also starts with starter crews and typical rates to change. Or Guided setup ($3,000, once) has a person from Aggrado move your codebook in for you.
›Does the phone app work with no signal?
Yes. On the Field tab, everything the crew enters is kept on the phone and sent on its own when signal comes back, with a count of what's waiting to send. Signing in the first time needs signal.
›Is it in Spanish?
The phone app is in English and Spanish: it follows the phone's language, and each person can choose on the Account tab. Reminders and summaries come in each person's language. The office website is in English.
›Does Aggrado do payroll?
No. Aggrado doesn't run payroll or hold bank or Social Security numbers. Approved time cards go to your payroll service through the Payroll export, split into regular, overtime and double time, and what payroll really paid can come back to set against your standard labor burden.
›Is my data mine?
Yes. Your company owns the records it puts into Aggrado; Aggrado stores and shows them only to run and support the service. A paused trial keeps them, a canceled plan keeps them readable for six months, and a company that closes can ask for an export of its records.
›How do I get help?
Signed in, open Help › Help and support: search the help, use Ask Aggrado at any hour for questions about your own setup and work, or send a request and a person takes over. People at Aggrado answer Monday to Friday, 7 am to 6 pm Eastern, and by email at support@aggrado.com.
›What does it cost for a crew of 10?
The crew is free: you pay for estimators and for jobs running at once. One estimator and up to 5 jobs running is $422.50 a month paid for the year ($507 month to month): the Bid seat and Job up to 5 jobs, with Field included. Your price is held for 3 years from the day your subscription starts. After that it can rise by no more than 5% a year, and we tell you before it does.
